  At that moment Ben’s eyes met his and he could read the heat that burned in his man’s heart. Puma pushed back from the table and hurried to the stage steps. Once he climbed them, he took a moment and let the music grab hold of his body. Then he danced across the stage to join Ben. By then Ben was down to a pair of loose-fitting black boxers.

  When only a few inches separated their bodies, Puma settled his hands onto Ben’s hips at the same time Ben’s hands went to his. Their gazes locked as they began to slow-dance together. A moment later, the music changed to a slow, bluesy ballad that was another of their favorites. At the same time, the lights dimmed until there were just spotlights focused on the stage. The other couples were now dancing around them.

  Ben dropped his head and nibbled on Puma’s ear. “I love you, wildcat,” he said just loud enough for Puma to hear.

  “I love you, too, big guy,” Puma returned as he canted his hips forward to press his hard cock against Ben’s. “How about we blow this pop stand? We can go home, get naked, and celebrate our upcoming wedding.”

  “I like the way you think,” Ben said. “Unfortunately, your friends have a few more phases to this party.”

  Puma glanced toward the back of the stage and wondered if they could escape out the back door without anyone missing them. He needed to be alone and naked with his man and didn’t care about whatever else his friends had planned for the party.

  At that moment, the music died away and the lights came up. “Enough of that, you two. Time to open your wedding presents,” Sam, the wedding planner, said as he and Conor, his scantily-clad husband, led the couples off the stage again.

  With a grumpy sigh, Puma allowed Ben to guide him off the stage and over to where the others were anxiously awaiting their arrival. “This had better be worth it,” he muttered to himself, hoping no one heard him.

  Ben turned and pulled him in for a long, deep kiss. “It will be, wildcat. And just remember that in less than forty-eight hours, we’ll be husband and husband and no one will ever be able to separate us again.”

  “Cake,” Puma said when he caught sight of the cake, which was on a separate table. All at once he wasn’t quite as ready to leave. After all, there was cake and presents, two of his favorite things other than being wrapped around Ben.

  He would give his friends another hour, and then he was dragging Ben out of there and back to the house they had found and were renovating and upgrading one room at a time.

  His life might have been put on hold for seven years, but he finally got what he wanted—Ben in his life until death did they part.

  He was one happy man.
